Xotic

Xotic is a first-person shooter game that was first released in 2011. The story revolves around the main character, an alien stick figure, who must fight The Orb, as it creates creatures and destroys planets. Players assume the role of the hero who must fight off the enemies and stop The Orb from continuing to cause destruction. Some of the tasks the player must do include discover power ups, detonate chain reactions, and shoot enemies. The main goal is to use the Macroterra, a symbiotic creature, in order to stop The Orb’s minions and plant seeds of life.

Performing missions awards the player experience points that can be used to upgrade skills and weapons. There is also a skill called Absorbtion that is used for automatically pulling points towards the hero. Players must also unlock different technologies and weapons in order to be stronger and make it easier to defeat The Orb.
