Registry Tools is a Windows system utility program developed by Yamicsoft specifically for Windows 7 operating system. This tool is bundled with the Windows 7 Manager suite under the Miscellaneous Utilities. Users can also launch the program separate from the suite.
The program can be used to manage and operate different aspects of the Windows Registry. Its interface offers five main functions. The first one is the Registry Finder. This function is used for finding a specific registry entry via a search box. Users only have to type the keyword. There’s also an option to search for the full match of the keyword. This function can be used to search for key, value name, and/or value. The search range can be modified as well giving users the ability to specify the search range.
Registry Tools also offer a function for locating a specific registry key that the users need to open. This function works by entering the Main Key value and the Key. Entering the Value Name is also possible. But, this is only optional. This utility can also be used to launch the Windows Registry Editor. Once clicked, it automatically opens the Registry Editor. Aside from this, the program can also be used to backup and restore the Windows registry.
