WinDjView is a DjVu viewer application developed and distributed by Andrew Zhezherun. It is a freeware program governed by the GNU General Public License. DjVu is a graphic file format mainly designed for storing scanned documents, particularly files having a combination of line drawings, photographs, text and colored images.

The WinDjView application features a tabbed interface. It can open multiple documents. Each document is placed on a separate tab allowing users to access the files within a single window. Alternatively, opening multiple documents on different windows is also possible. If only a single document is opened, users can also hide the tabs. Generating thumbnails for all the pages in the background is also possible.

Settings for managing the display are available in the WinDjView program. It can invert color, adjust brightness, gamma, and contrast. The program also features bookmarks, allowing users to add bookmarks on the files. The bookmarks can also be backed up or imported. Highlighting selected texts is also available.

The WinDjView application offers different viewing tools. It has a Hand tool, Rectangle tool and Select tool. The program also offers a Rotating tool, which can be used to rotate the document for better viewing. A Magnifying Glass tool and Zoom tool is also available. Users can also view DjVu files using the Continuous Layout or Facing Pages option. It offers four display modes – Black & White, Foreground, Color, and Background.
