Veoh Web Player Beta is an application that allows one to download videos from Veoh to one’s computer browser. Veoh is a website that contains a number of online video content. Though its content may not be exhaustive, it differentiates itself from websites such as YouTube, by providing complete shows and movies to its users.
Program installation is quick and easy, after which a user can stream and download full-length videos, such as complete films from Veoh’s website. However, content copyright information is not clearly presented to the user. Internet connection is also a requisite in watching and downloading videos. Downloading also takes up some time to complete with this program. The quality of videos shown with this application is good in its small and medium screen modes. However, the full screen option renders video quality that is less than perfect and quite unstable. The program comes with its own Download Manager that enables users to pause and continue downloads to a later date. Downloaded files may be organized in a user created library and can be watched anytime. The application also does not impose and file size limitation for video downloads.
New updates included in the software’s release are a Giraffic accelerator feature for quicker download speed and at least 500MB of free disk space to process video download.
