UPSilon 2000 is a utility developed by Mega System Technologies, Inc. for monitoring and controlling a system’s uninterruptible power supply or UPS. When monitoring the power supply quality, this application displays the current status of the UPS including the input and output voltage, line frequency, load amount, temperature capacity, and battery power. At the same time, the users can observe and manage the capacity of the UPS effectively and remotely by using a network such as TCI/IP or the Internet.
UPSilon 2000 has a Windows NT service function to monitor the programs that will automatically be executed before logging in. It can perform monitoring function even without the user in case of AC failure or the UPS battery capacity is low. This application sends warning messages to the users by auto-dialing and calling the pager or by e-mail notification. It can also record the UPS status while analyzing it.
UPSilon 2000 offers multiple shutdown options, and multiple language support where users can choose which language is familiar and more convenient to use for implementing software operation and configuration. It allows users to schedule a turn-on or turn-off time for operations, set a countdown timer and interval time for every warning, and set a UPS self-time diagnostic test.
