Toy Story 3

Disney Interactive Studios (Proprietary)

Toy Story 3 is an action/platform video game based on the Toy Story movie. It is developed by Avalance Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios. The game was first released on June 15, 2010. It is the sequel to the Toy Story 2 video game, which is also based on the Toy Story 2 film. The game’s story revolves around Slinky, Hamm and Rex as they tell the story of the original toys of Andy Davis (Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Rex, Slinky, Hamm and the alien toys) and their adventures before they become Bonnie’s toys.

In this game, players can take on the role as Buzz Lightyear, Woody or Jessie. However, in some levels, some of the characters are not playable. Each player character has a unique move. For instance, Buzz Lightyear can toss other characters over extended distance and Woody can utilize the pull string on his back to swing over different areas. All of them can toss luxo balls and do shoulder charge on enemies/targets. The game has two game modes – Toybox and Story. The Toybox mode, entitled Woody’s Roundup, enables the player to customize and create levels then fill them with missions and inhabitants. When players complete missions/objectives in this mode, they can earn money. This money can be used for expanding the city or unlocking new objects. The Story mode is like the campaign mode, which contains nine levels and follows the story of the movie where it is based.
