Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing

Criterion Studios (Proprietary)

Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing, formerly known as Redline Racer, is a game in which players participate in motorcycle races. At the start of the game, players have access to three Suzuki motorbikes and three tracks in different locations to race in; this will increase to eight bikes and 12 racing circuits as they progress through the game by winning three consecutive races on each track. Players can choose which team to join. The racing environments include snow-covered courses, arid deserts, and rocky valleys. Players can use the Nitro button to boost their speed.

Among the many motorbike models included in the game are the official bikes used by Team Suzuki Alstare, such as the SportBike GSX-R600 and the SuperBike GSX-R750. Players can customize their bikes as preferred. There are four game modes available, which includes the two-player mode. In this mode, the screen will be split into two, one for each player.

Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing provides players with smooth graphics, and the races play out in 30 frames per second. The game features real sound effects of speeding Suzuki motorbikes as well as animated riders. Some races are done at night, making tracks more challenging because players have to rely on their own headlights for illumination. In addition, each track poses different challenges—some tracks are wide while some have plenty of curves, adding to the game’s difficulty.
