Star Wars Battlefront

Pandemic Studios (Proprietary)

Star Wars: Battlefront is an action shooter game developed by LucasArts and Pandemic Studios. It features a first-person and third person perspective and allows players to fight with artificial intelligence players called bots, as well as fight against them. The game offers a mode called Instant Action, in which players can choose from two different single-player modes. In the historical campaign, players will witness scenes that are directly related to the plots of episodes I, II, and III as well as IV, V, and VI. A brief film clip is shown before presenting each map and players are not made to choose sides, although they will be playing for both sides alternately in the game. The battle maps contain multiple bots in various areas. Friendly pilots will occasionally throw health and ammo to the players when needed.

The Galactic Conquest mode on the other hand, is more open-ended than Instant Action in that it lets players choose which enemy-controlled celestial bodies to attack first. Every time a planet is controlled, the player is rewarded with a unique bonus that can be used in succeeding battles. Some of these bonuses include “Jedi Hero”, which gives the player with a powerful AI characters based in the Star Wars films and Sabotage, which makes the enemy’s vehicles to incur heavy damage.
