Sound Normalizer 4.0

Kanz Software (Shareware)

Sound Normalizer is an audio normalizer program developed by Kanz Software. This program is used for adjusting an audio track to improve the sound’s quality. The program supports multiple audio formats including FLAC, MP3, WAV, and others.

The program features a batch processor capability allowing users to work on multiple audio tracks simultaneously. Some of the tasks that support batch processing include batch test, batch converting, and batch normalization of WAV, FLAC, and MP3 audio files. The program’s interface offers a graphical display of the volume level. It also shows percentage of the volume. This application also features two types of normalization – RMS normalization and Peak normalization. These two types are applicable to both FLAC and WAV files. On the other hand, MP3 normalization is done only on an RMS normalization level. The program also features volume adjustment functions for the MP3 Normalizer function.

Sound Normalizer offers ID3 tag editing as well. It has a built-in MP3 and FLAC ID3 Tag Editor. This tag editor supports ID3v2 and ID3v1 tags. It can also work as a converter tool, which can be used to convert audio files from MP3 to WAV and vice versa. The program also displays audio file properties such as bit rate, coding method, file size, sample rate, and channel mode.
