Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is a platform video game that was released in 2003. It is an enhanced port of Sonic Adventure that first came out in 1998. It is also the 6th game in the Sonic the Hedhehog franchise. This game takes place in Angel island. It follows Sonic as he stops the villain Doctor Eggman from stealing the Chaos Emeralds that will be fed to Chaos. He will be joined by his friends in the journey.

This game has 2 game modes: Adventure and Trial. Each character also has goals to fulfill. They also retain their trademark moves from previous Sonic games. There are also mini games. Among them are kart racing and snowboarding. Hidden Chao gardens can also be found in the game. This allows players to raise a virtual pet called Chao. This virtual pet can be taken with the player when they download a mini game called Chao Adventure. Chao’s stats can be raised

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut has 6 playable characters. There are more than 30 levels and 60 new mission modes across Adventure Fields and Action Stages. There are graphic enhancements from the original game. Linking a Gameboy Advance system is also allowed. There are 12 unlockable Game Gear games which feature Sonic. Metal Sonic can also be unlocked if the player collects all the Emblems.
