SmartEdit is a program used for editing text. This is useful for writers who write novels and articles. The program checks text for repeated phrases and words, usage of adverbs, punctuations, redundancies, and many others. Aside from these, it is also capable of editing sentence structures. The application has a simple and intuitive user interface, which is easy to use even for those who are not computer savvy.

Users can import a document to the program by clicking on the “Open Document” button, which is located at the upper portion of the main window. Once the text is open on the interface, users can select the things to check from the left panel of the window. After choosing, users can then click on the “Run Checks” button. The result list will be displayed at the lower portion of the window. This is where users can see the mistakes. Properties for the text are at the right side of the window. These include the word count, character count, and many others. Users can edit the text under the Word Processor tab.

SmartEdit also comes with a Video Tutorial button. This video tutorial teaches users how to use the different features of the application.
