SHReK the THiRD

Shrek the Third is an action-adventure game developed by Gameloft and several other companies and published by Activision. It is based on the animated movie of the same title, and features Shrek’s search for the King’s heir, Artie so that he can rule Far Far Away and prevent Prince Charming from making a coup attempt to seize the throne. Players can assume the roles of any of the other main characters from the movie besides Shrek; these characters include Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, Donkey, and Arthur. The game offers single and multiplayer modes as well as 20 levels of gameplay.

In the Story Mode, the player can select from among 6 characters: Shrek, Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots, Donkey, Arthur, and one minor character. In each level, the player must go on several quests in order to advance in the game. Once a level is completed, the player earns extra Far Far Pounds, which can be spent on various items in the gift shop. The more difficult the level is, the higher the amount of money is earned. Objects such as barrels and boxes can be seen lying around the levels, most of which have fairy dust inside. Occasionally, players will find money and food inside these smashables. The player must also fight enemies and use a finishing move on him/her to finish the job.
