Ricochet Lost Worlds: Recharged

Reflexive Entertainment (Proprietary)

Ricochet Lost Worlds: Recharged is a single-player breakout-style video game developed and published by Reflexive Entertainment. It was first released on October 2004. The game is the third installment in the Ricochet series. There are three main elements in the game – ship, ball, and bricks. The player pilots the ship using the mouse in order to catch the ball. The ball must then destroy the bricks present in each round by bouncing off the ball to the bricks. There are 160 rounds in the game, which are grouped into 10s. The player must complete a set of 10 to reach the “checkpoint”.

Ricochet Lost Worlds: Recharged has three primary goals. The first one is to make sure the ball is in play for as long as the player can. The second goal is to acquire the highest possible score by clearing as many bricks as possible. The last goal is to collect all the rings on every round. This goal is optional. The game features four levels of difficulty, which can be selected prior to a game. Players can play on four different types of environments –Alien Tech, Volcanic Crust, Sunken City and Mayan Temple. Each of this environment features a unique type of bricks available to that certain environment only. Players may also earn more score and destroy bricks with the help of power ups (i.e. 8-way split, 3-way split, ball catcher, bombs and acid ball). Power ups can either aid or hinder a player from finishing a round.
