Real Chess 3D is a game which allows players to practice their strategy skills through the game of chess. 3D is three-dimensional, which means that users can see the board in 3 dimensions, much like how it is being seen on an actual chessboard. In the game of chess, each player starts with 16 pieces comprised of 1 king, 1 queen, 2 knights, 2 rooks, 8 pawns, and 2 bishops. Each of the pieces moves in different ways and can capture opponents. The main objective of a player is to put the opponent’s king in a “checkmate” position, which is one of no escape.
Real Chess 3D can be played in two ways. It can be played against another player or against the computer. The graphics are displayed in three-dimensional view with two camera modes. It comes with a sophisticated hint system, which allows not only novice players but also advanced players to check for possible moves. The game interface displays the chessboard at the middle, the time on the upper-left portion, and the camera controls on the lower middle portion. At the bottom of the main interface are options to save the game, load the game, and display the main menu.
