Pop Art Studio is a photo-editing program released on December, 2012. It provides many art effects mimicking the works of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and other pop art icons. The program contains a vast selection of tools for text, drawing, color, and filter adjustment abilities. Supported image extensions include JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, and TIFF. Users can transform their photos into pop art pieces. Users can work on multiple photos at once. Pop art filters, including “Coca Cola,” “Yes We Can,” “Marilyn,” and “Mao, 1972,” can provide more options to the user.
The photo-editing begins when users open pictures with the drag-and-drop method or by using the file browser. Images can then be manipulated with the use of graphic editing tools such as the magic wand, lasso, clip art selector, text select, and palette selection. Users can flip or rotate pictures, add shapes, change color and texture, measure, pan, and apply muti-gradients to the images. Resizing, multiplying, duplicating, splitting, and cropping of images are also possible. There are many other effects for image enhancement, like 3D object rendering, animation, painting, and reflection.
Other special characteristics that contribute to the appeal of the program are:
• Wide assortment of pop art and artistic effects, photo collage, and templates
• Extensive collection of clip art
• Ability to generate fractal designs with a high level of detail
• Image conversion and manipulation in batches
• Vector and bitmap layers and layer groups
