Pixum EasyBook is an application that enables users to create photobooks easily and send these to Pixum for printing. It has an EasyBook Assistant feature that lets users select an image folder and page specifications, and the application will be the one to place all of the photos in the photobook for a quick project. Users can select from four different landscape or portrait orientation formats and sizes. To maintain picture quality, the application resizes images to at least 360dpi. When users are satisfied with how their photos are laid out, they can select a variety of bindings and cover finishes.
Users can create the photobook in any way they want. A three-pane window contains all of the commands needed to manually place photos in the book. The left panel contains a design selector tab, the layout and pagination controls, as well as the file explorer for locating images. At the center of the screen is the preview area where users can see the book they are creating spread by spread. The top panel shows photobook’s pages so users can select which page to work on. Users can add photos to their book by simply dragging and dropping these to the project area. The photos can be resized and rotated as desired. Captions and text may be added as well.
When finished, users can save their project, print it directly from their computers, or send the file to Pixum for printing, binding, and delivery.
