PhotoRescue Pro is an application used for recovering photos from different sources, such as mobile phones, cameras, memory cards, and hard drives. This program is useful when photos are accidentally deleted or if the storage location has been corrupted or formatted. The program has an intuitive interface that novice computer users will be able to use. Upon launching the program, the main window displays all the drives and devices that are connected to the computer. Users must select the drive where the data was lost. Users must also choose the type of data to recover.
PhotoRescue Pro runs a full scan of the system to retrieve the lost data. The scanning process can take a few minutes depending on the file to be recovered. All the files will be displayed as a list when the scan is complete. Users can go through the list and look at the preview thumbnail. To recover the files, users must place a checkmark on the box beside the name of the file. The program is capable of recovering different file formats, such as WAV, JPG, AVI, CDR, BMP, MOV, and many others.
