Philips Intelligent Agent 2.2

Philips Intelligent Agent is a system utility designed specifically for Philips products. It is designed to help users manage and update their Philips products. The program works by automatically notifying and offering users the correct and updated download for Philips software without having to manually search the entire list. It supports extensive Philips software including Philips Blu-ray drives, Philips DVD drives, Philips CD drives, Philips Network Storage Devices, and more.

Philips Intelligent Agent also offers a function to check for updates periodically. Users are asked to enable or disable this option the first time the program is launched. The program’s interface is straightforward offering a single-windowed dialog box that displays Philips product and scan results. Working with the program involves scanning the system for all installed Philips software. After scanning, it lists down all detected software and displays the installed version and the latest version of that software. If the program finds that one of the software is outdated, a button to update the program is available.

Aside from the program’s main function, Philips Intelligent Agent provides configuration options as well. Under the Options menu, users can specify when the program updates Philips products. It also provides options for Internet Access used as well as settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
