PDF to Word Converter is a program used for converting PDF files to Word documents. The application is able to retain the format of PDF documents when they are converted through the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature. The application has a simple and easy to use interface that is ideal for novice computer users. There are three sections on the main window – Select, Layout, and Pages.
• Select – On the Select section, users can choose to convert files or sub-folders. This is also where users can set the location of the PDF source file and the save location for the converted file. There is also a dropdown box for the save file format.
• Layout – The Layout section enables users to select the items to retain from the PDF document. There are five sections under Layout – Flowing, Continuous, Plain Text, Images, and Formatted Text. Details for each section are provided as well.
• Pages – Under the Pages section, users can choose “All” to convert all the pages of the PDF or “From” to select a range of pages.
Once all the settings have been chosen, users just have to click on the “Convert” button to start converting the PDF document to word. The conversion progress can be seen on the “Status” window.
