Need for Speed Most Wanted – Black Edition is a limited edition release of Need for Speed Most Wanted for the tenth anniversary of the franchise. This video game pack was released in November 2005 along with the standard Need for Speed Most Wanted. The Black Edition contains an extra CD containing bonus content such as the comprehensive history of the Need for Speed franchise, vehicles showcases, a car art gallery, Need for Speed Most Wanted movies, and a behind-the-scenes footage of the creation of the game’s cinematics. This game pack also contains new cars such as 1967 Camaro, and the BMW M3 GTR that can be unlocked in the game’s Quick race, and Online modes. Users also get to access a package of eight custom rides featuring special body kits, spoilers, rims, roof scoops. These rides include the Supra, Lotus Elise, Porsche 911 GT2, Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, Corvette C6, Mercedes-Benz SL 500, Porsche 911 Carrera S, and the Corvette C6 R. in addition to these, Need for Speed Most Wanted – Black Edition allows users to access a special game mode: Pursuit Challenge. In this game mode, players need to navigate the streets skillfully in order to evade pursuing police cars. This game pack also includes three extra race challenges.

Need for Speed Most Wanted is a racing video game where players get to focus on driving and vehicle control skills in order to win a race. Players get to choose between a variety of customizable vehicles and participate in races in order to get points, cash credits, and new cars. These rewards are used to upgrade the vehicle by purchasing parts and accessories that increase the vehicles attributes, such as speed, acceleration, handling, and skid resistance.
