mediAvatar DVD Converter Pro is an application that allows users to rip DVDs and convert the videos to different file formats, such as WMV, AVI, WMA, XviD, MOV, and many others. Users can then transfer the videos to different devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, game consoles, and other gadgets. In addition to ripping and converting video files, the application also consists of some editing tools that allow users to split a long video file into shorter sections of change the video settings.

The program’s main interface is intuitive. Task buttons are located at the upper portion of the main window. When a DVD is inserted on the computer’s drive, chapters are automatically displayed on the main window with information, such as the duration of each chapter, the number of the chapter, its profile, output size, and status. The program also comes with preset profiles (iPad, PlayStation, Web Video, General Video Format, Wii and DS, Android, and many others), which can be used for automatically configuring the settings for conversion to be suited for a specific device.
