Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX

Gray Matter Interactive (Proprietary)

Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX is a BMX-themed video game that was first released in 2001. In the game, players perform tricks on a BMX bike to see who gets the most points. Players are free to choose from various professional BMX riders, such as Mike Escamilla, Rick Thorne, and Mat Hoffman. The game makes use of the same game engine used for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game.

In the game, players have several goals to achieve such as getting a pro score, collecting letters, breaking or collecting items, and getting the high score. Players also get additional points for various tricks done on the BMX. Players get the chance to choose between two BMX bikes under the Options screen. They can also get power-ups after completing a level. Furthermore, the game comes with a create-a-park mode where users can create their own race park to use in the game. The game features three game modes – single session, free ride, and multiplayer mode.

Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX also comes with bonuses. Tony Hawk makes an appearance as a secret character. Additionally, two levels can be unlocked – the Burnside and the Warehouse – which are locations in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater game.
