KM-NET for Direct Printing 2.3.1113

KYOCERA MITA Corporation (Freeware)

Released in March 2013, KM-NET for Direct Printing is a utility that permits loading and printing of Portable Document Format files. It makes printing of PDF document files easy because as it eliminates the need to open the document and use formatting and output options. The same convenience is possible when printing PDF files downloaded from the Web. Starting the Acrobat Reader is not necessary for this process to be completed. The program utilizes the Windows spooler to send the printable files -  such as PDF documents - directly to the printing system. Printing options may be configured using the software. PDF documents may be easily printed using Kyocera printers or an MFP (Multi-Function Printer) without utilizing a driver or installing an application to access the documents.

Adding the desired PDF files to the File Name list may be accomplished with any of these four methods:

• Starting KM-Net for Direct Printing and clicking the Add button to select files from the Open File dialog box
• Selecting the file in Windows explorer and dragging and dropping it onto the KM-Net for Direct Printing icon
• Selecting the file in Windows explorer and then selecting KM-Net for Direct Printing in the context menu
• Starting the program, then selecting the file and, dragging and dropping it into the application's window

After adding the file, a user can select the printer or printing system for printing PDF files from the pull-down menu for Printer Listing. Settings for printing may then be adjusted with the Settings button.
