JetBoost is an application that optimizes the computer’s performance. It does this by shutting down unnecessary processes in the background to give priority to applications and services running in the system. The application offers three types of boot modes: Work, Game, and Custom. Users can change the boost mode on the program’s main window. All the processes that are going to be stopped are displayed on the window, too. After boosting the system, a report can be viewed showing the processes and services stopped and the percentage of increase in performance. The system can be brought back to its original state by clicking on the ‘Restore’ button.
JetBoost optimizes the system according to the boost mode chosen. For Work and Game mode, the application shuts down processes, such as steam.exe, bitcomet.exe, and taskmgr.exe. In Custom mode, users have the freedom to choose which processes and services to stop. There are also other configurations for the user including editing the Service List, and changing the user interface. The program can be automatically updated by clicking on the ‘Auto Update’ button under the ‘Settings’ tab on the main window.
Other features of the application are:
• One-click function
• Removes distractions from irrelevant programs
• Completely free
• Customization of boost model
