HiDownload Platinum is a download manager used for downloading audio and video from different hosting sites on the Internet. The program supports different streaming protocols, such as HTTP, RTMP, RTSP, and MMS. It has a user-friendly interface that allows novice computer users to easily manage it. Aside from downloading files, the application can also be used to convert these media files to different file formats including WMV, AVI, MP3, MPEG, and MOV.
The program’s user interface is divided into different sections. The upper part of the main window is where users can see a list of all the downloads in progress. More information can be seen at the bottom part of the window. The left panels displays a list of all the downloads in categories. Task buttons and menus are located at the topmost portion of the window. This program supports batch downloading, which enables users to download several files all at the same time.
