HD Video Converter Factory Pro is an application used to convert videos into different formats. The program is equipped with a High Definition mechanism for video conversion. Video types which can be converted include MPEG-TS, HDTV, AVCHD, BDAV, MKV, and M2TS.

Video content can be extracted into audio.  Batch conversion is provided and allows for conversion of fifty videos simultaneously. HD videos can be converted to SD videos by cutting down video sizes. Standard definition videos on the other hand can be converted to high-definition ones by using the program. Devices which can be used for outputs are iPhone, iPad, iPod, Nexus, One, Blackberry, Zen, Vivid, Android, HTC Flyer, Sensation, Nokia, PSP, PS3, Zune, Apple TV, Xbox, and PDA, among others. Hyper Threading and Multi-CPU are also supported. File formats that the program converts videos into are 3GP, AVI, WMV, MOV, HD ASF, HD MP4, HD WMV, HD MOV, HD AVI, MKV, ASF, and MPEG. Video effects include noise, sharpen, mosaic, old film, emboss, and blur. The cropping function can be used to eliminate black bars and unwanted areas. The merge feature allows for a number of videos to be combined into a single one. The queue list provides information such as video status, output profile, duration, name, size, and video size. Output videos can be uploaded to websites such as Yahoo video, Facebook, Myspace, and YouTube. Third party codecs are not needed to use the program.
