The HDD Wipe Tool is a system utility for erasing files or wiping memory from low-level drives. It is designed to carry out its erasing function among a variety of disk drives including: Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA), Enhanced Integrated Drive Electronics (E-IDE), Small Computer System Interface (SCSI), Universal Serial Bus (USB), and FIREWIRE, among others. Moreover, it can also be used in erasing contents of FLASH cards through card readers. Nevertheless, the utility is built to run on specific models and brands of disk drives and FLASH cards. These cards include Toshiba, Maxtor, Samsung, Hitachi, Fujitsu storage devices.
Hard Disk Wipe Tool is equipped with a re-certification feature that cleans and restores virtually any size SATA, SCSI, and E-IDE hard disk memory. Additionally, this feature also works by creating drive enclosures in FIREWIRE disks to ensure proper erasing of data. Hard Disk Wipe Tool can clear Master Boot Records, partitions, and any type of data. This is made possible by its Ultra-Direct Memory Access technology, a subprogram that wipes and erases even the most complex data. However, once the disk has been fully erased, recovery of data will not be possible due to the comprehensive data clean-up process this program facilitates.
