Free File Opener is file processing software created by Free File Opener LLC and released in 2011. This program allows users to open and access files from a variety of file formats, be it documents, audio, video, or images. It can open document file formats like DOC, XLS, PDF, and PPT, among others. Free File Opener can also process a variety of image file formats like JPEG, GIF, TIFF, and PSD, among several other image file formats. This program can also recognize Camera RAW image file formats. Free File Opener can also open audio and video files. For audio, it can open MP3, WMA, OGG, and even FLAC files or Free Lossless Audio Codec files. For video, it can play several file formats like WMV, MP4, MKV, and other high definition video file formats.
Free File Opener features a ribbon-type Windows-based user interface. The quick access function bar at the top features the icons for Open, Save as, Print, Previous, Next, Copy, Find, and Find Next. View Options may also be found here including Fit Width, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Original, and Full Screen. Different file formats show different options as well. For example, when viewing image files, the left panel shows the Image Options with two tabs—Edit and Convert. In Edit tab, users may customize the image effects and image orientation.
