Folder Scout is an application used for accessing folders in the computer easily. The application has an intuitive user interface where users can conduct folder searches. This eliminates the need to search for sub folders in different locations. To search for a specific folder in the system, users just need type in a few words on the search field. The program makes use of predictive technology that shows users the list of folders once the user starts typing. The main interface is also divided into four sections – Disk Tree, Favorites, Recent Folders, and Recent Docs. Users can add folders that they often access to Favorites so that they can be accessed with just one click next time.
On the Options window, users can change the general options for the program and set a hotkey combination for finding folders. In addition, the program’s user interface can be changed, as the application comes with different skins including silver, green, orange, and blue.
