The multiplayer mode has two game modes (e.g. deathmatch destruction derbies and Head-On race) while the single player has five new modes (e.g. career racing, time trials, arcade racing and more). When playing single player mode, players can play against up to 11 AI-controlled vehicles for every race. The multiplayer mode has a new format now. However, the LAN functionality is no longer included in this installment. The game offers both offline and online game modes.
