Driver Genius is a driver manager application developed by Driver-Soft Inc. All the drivers installed in a computer can be accessed and managed through this program. The Driver Genius software detects and backs up drivers. The backup drivers can be compressed into a self-extracting file, zip file, or independent executable installer.

It can also restore drivers by installing the backed up drivers after reformatting your computer. Option to install the driver through a command line is also possible. You can even install drivers on several computers with the same hardware specifications.

The Driver Genius program features Drivers Update. The Driver Genius Database offers thousands of drivers including Modem, Video Card, Motherboard, and more. All the drivers found in their database are either WHQL or official versions.  The program can find and install all the drivers requiring an update without any compatibility issues.

Uninstalling leftover or damaged drivers is also possible using this program. It detects drivers that are no longer in use and uninstall them from the computer system. The program also features LiveUpdate that can be used for synchronizing the local Driver Genius Database with the updated drivers.

Users can configure different options for customization. Under the Settings menu, users can set the program to restart after every driver restore. An option to configure the archive compression level is also available as well as a scheduling feature. It also has a driver virus scan that can be set to run after downloading a driver package.
