Dracula 3

Microids (Proprietary)

Dracula 3, or Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon, is a horror-adventure game developed by Microids. The game’s storyline is based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The game features original characters the classic novel. It is a first-person shooting (FPS) game that also includes adventure and puzzle games in a point–and-click game mode. Unlike the usual point-and-click games that feature a still screen, this game sets up a gaming system where the player is allowed to mingle with animated characters, objects, or animals during said mode.

The story of Dracula 3 begins when Arno Moriani performed a canonization process in search for a prospective nominee in Transylvania. Moriani’s search is immediately brought to a close without further investigation. The corpse of the chosen nominee has a strange sign on it which is not a symbol of some holy power. The people of the village think that it is the symbol of Count Dracula. To verify if vampires really exist, the town’s bishop made a decision to investigate further. Said investigation leads into the story of the game.

Dracula 3 followed the games Dracula: Resurrection and Dracula 2: The Last Sanctuary. The latest version of this game series is Dracula 4: The Shadow of the Dragon.
