Convert 4.10

Joshua F. Madison (Freeware)

Convert is a program developed by Joshua Madison. This program is used to convert different measurement values from one system to another. Convert is used in mathematical computations in scientific studies as well as engineering projects. This program allows users to convert different measurement units, such as force, light, mass, power, pressure, speed, temperature, time, volume, dry volume, acceleration, angle, area, density, distance, and flow. Users are also provided with different measurement systems such as Metric, English, Natural, and other non-standard units. To use Convert, users would simply need to select the input and output value, type in the value to be converted, and then click the convert button. The program would instantly display the converted value, which can be copied to clipboard and pasted on the document, or project the user is working on. In addition to these, Convert has an options panel where users may configure the conversion and value display settings. This program is portable, lightweight, and does not consume much system memory to operate.

Convert features a simple user interface that contains three main parts. The first part contains tabs for the measurement units, such as acceleration, speed, temperature, etc. Users may switch between units by clicking on a tab that describes their intended unit. The next part displays a list of conversion systems for the input and output values. Users may convert interchangeably by clicking on the hand pointer between the boxes. The third part contains text boxes for the input and output values. This section allows users to input the number to be converted and copy the resulting conversion.
