SuperEasy Codec Checker is software that lets users find out missing codecs. When users try to play a song or video, there are times when they cannot be played. The program will display that there is a missing codec. Codec Checker will analyze the file. It will then proceed to identify what codec is missing. It will recommend the codec that needs to be downloaded for the file to run.
Codec Checker can identify up to 67 file formats. Whenever possible, it will list down all codecs (and alternative codecs) that can be downloaded for the file to play correctly. It will recommend the best one. This eliminates the need for the user to look for the right codec manually. It also has the ability to read files that are protected. The latest DFM techniques are supported. There is adjustment for particular file types (DivX and XviD). The software can run in English or German. The user interface is colored in blue shade. Opening an audio or video can be done by clicking the prominent blue square at the top. The program has a tree-type view. This means it lets users see files in a hierarchical view. It has a simple interface that novice computer users will be able to control.
