Emergency Soft (Freeware)

Blot Game is an Armenian card game developed by Emergency Soft. The game was released on February 2008. This card game is played using 32 cards. The game is based on a card game played way back in France during the 1600s. The Blot game is also called the Dutch Claver game. The game is played on other parts of the world like Macedonia and Croatia. In Greece, it is called Vida, while in Bulgaria, it is called Bridge Belote. Other terms used to refer the game in Armenia are Southern Blot and Hand-Blot.

Blot is normally played by 2, 3, or 4 players. When the game is played with 4 players, the game is more commonly called Bazaar Blot. The 32 cards used in the game are the 7-10 cards plus the King, Queen, Jack, and Ace of cards. The cards are distributed clockwise to the four players divided into two teams. Each partner is seated opposite of each other. Dealing the cards is made in a 4-4 order, or 3-2-3 manner, with each player holding 8 cards.

Emergency Soft’s Blot Game is available for 1 player and 2 players only. In solo play, the opponent is the game AI. In 2-player game, the other participant is the opponent. Blot refers to the situation where a pair of king and queen trumps each other.
