Bandicam is a screencasting application that is capable of capturing screenshots and videos of the desktop. This is useful for creating instructional videos and tutorials. The program records videos with a high compression ratio and makes sure that the video quality is closest to the original. Image formats supported by the application are BMP, JPEG, and PNG. Video formats supported are MPEG-1, AVI, MJPEG, and Xvid. When recording videos or capturing screenshots, users have the option to choose an area of the desktop to record.
Users can set hotkeys for recording and pausing on the video options tab. After the video is recorded, the program automatically compresses the video so that they come in a smaller file size. The video can be uploaded straight to YouTube and other video sharing websites without having to convert the file. However, 720p and 1080p full HD videos can also be created with the recorded video. Bandicam can be used to record videos up to 24 hours without stopping. Auto-recording can also be done to automatically stop recording after a few minutes or hours.
Here are more features of the program:
record up to 2560 x 1600 high quality videos
less lag when recording
