Badoo Desktop is a desktop program that allows Badoo users to see the location of other Badoo users. Users must have a Badoo account in order to use the software. The program notifies the user if there are messages. All the online contacts can also be viewed. The program’s settings can be changed to lessen or increase the frequency of notifications. Users can also set which alerts to be notified about. The application sounds can be enabled or disabled, too.
The program does not broadcast a user’s exact location. It will only display the proximity of one user to another. One feature of the program is Super Powers. This is an add-on that users can subscribe to in order to use extra features. Super Powers allows users to customize their profiles, use invisible mode, and make use of advanced search. Profiles can be seen by everyone or just by other Badoo users. Badoo users can upload photos and videos that other users can rate.
