Atlantis Evolution

Atlantis Evolution is a first-person fantasy adventure game and the fourth release in the Atlantis game series. The game is set at the beginning of the 20th century. In this game, players assume the role of Curtis Hewitt, a 25-year-old photojournalist. He has just come from Patagonia and is on his way home aboard the ship Lemuria when a storm hits, sinking the ship. Curtis is able to escape on a rowboat but he gets sucked in a whirlpool before he loses consciousness. Upon waking up he discovers himself to be in a place called New Atlantis.

The natives of New Atlantis are oppressed and outlawed as rebels. They see Curtis as a hero, who then feels compelled to help the Atlanteans gain their freedom from the domination of their tyrannical gods. He must go on different missions to accomplish this goal, and must do so without being captured. Only then will he be able to find a way home.

Players must go through mazes and stealth sequences, solve slider puzzles, and play arcade mini-games to advance in the game and accomplish missions. Along the way, players will interact with different characters and collect items that will be used later on in the game. These items are located in the inventory bar at the bottom. Players can right-click an item to take a closer look at it.
