Ashampoo Magical Optimizer

Ashampoo Magical Optimizer is an application used in removing a computer’s unnecessary files. Two optimization modes are offered after the program is launched. They are automatic and manual modes. The automatic mode is used if standard settings and default options are to be used and maintained. Manual mode was designed for advanced computer users and other users who intend to clean inessential drive files, Internet traces, as well as registry items that are invalid.

Cleaning modules can be customized through the program’s settings screen. The program’s Internet Cleaner can be used for Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. It can also eliminate Internet history, cookies, and temporary files. Inessential drive data can be removed as well by the program’s Drive Cleaner. Users have to designate drives to be scanned and redundant files which include backup data, Chkdsk and Minidump items, and temporary files. Items that are searched by default are ActiveX, icon entries, fonts, help files, application paths, system sounds, and entries from invalid file types. Deleted files can also be backed-up by the program for security purposes. Other program features include statistical history display, multiple language support, downloadable program updates, cleaning modules manual start, and a registry cleaner, among others.
