AMR Player is an application used for playing AMR files on the computer. It also supports conversion of common audio file formats (MP3 and WAV) to other formats, such as AMR, MP3, and WAV. AMR is a file format that is commonly used for mobile gadgets. The program offers four options for converting audio files. These are WAV to AMR, AMR to MP3, MP3 to AMR, and AMR to WAV. Converting files can be done in just a few seconds. The application does not consume a lot of system resources, too.

The AMR Player has a simple and straightforward interface. The main window consists of the command buttons for converting files and playing audio files. The command buttons are located at the top portion of the window. Files can be imported to the application by clicking the ‘Add File’ button. The program does not support batch conversion, but users can line up all the files in a queue. Converting files can be done by clicking on the ‘Convert’ menu or by clicking on one of the four buttons for conversion. All the files are listed on the main window. Other information, such as the file name, file path, size, and date is displayed, too.
