ALLDATA (Proprietary)

ALLDATA Repair is an auto-repair application that integrates a database of up-to-date information on manufacturer’s parts and labor services as well as repair information for local and foreign automobiles and light trucks. The application is an all-encompassing source for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) diagnostic maintenance and repair data.

Many organizations have long requested that multi-brand vehicle repair shops have complete access to repair and service information from automobile manufacturers. ALLDATA Repair lets the user access more than 2 million articles, over a million images, and hundreds of thousands of current Technical Service Bulletins and recalls. Manufacturer’s data on more than 33,000 engine-specific automobiles since 1982 are available. Furthermore, the database continues to grow as it is regularly updated. All data in this repository are standardized, and may be accessed 24/7 on the Internet through the software’s highly intuitive user interface. All OE information, recalls, diagrams, factory images, solutions, and Technical Service Bulletins accessed through the program come directly from the manufacturer. This means they never go through editing, rewriting, or redrawing. Consequently, the user (such as the shop technician) is able to repair the cars according the standards of the manufacturer.

At present, ALLDATA Repair covers OE data from Ford, Opel, Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, FIAT, Skoda, Citroen, Smart, Renault, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Peugeot, Dacia and Vauxhall. Clients can gain unlimited access to the information online and in five different languages (English, Spanish, German, French, and Italian). A highly useful key feature is the Library Request Button, which gives access to live library research support. It even provides live product training that is the result of inputs from seasoned automotive experts.
