Adolix Split and Merge PDF is an application used in cutting and joining PDF documents. Splitting and merging of files can be done via page range or designating specific page numbers. PDF documents can also be combined into one document using the program. Original layouts of shapes, images, and text are maintained in outputs.

The program’s interface is minimal and easy to navigate. Any type of computer user can easily use the program. PDF document import is done through a drag and drop facility or through a file browser. Queue list information includes file password, file source path, file name, and file quantity of pages. Users have to specify the output filename and destination before a certain task. Specific pages can be identified and choices which are pattern-based are available for the application’s splitting function. PDF files that have been encrypted can be appended into another PDF file. The maximum limit for the program’s merging functionality is five documents. On the other hand, the maximum limit for the program’s splitting facility is 50 pages. A Help file is provided and can be accessed in the application’s folder for Start Menu, instead of the interface. A small amount of a computer system’s resources is used in running the program.
