Adobe Soundbooth CS5

Adobe Soundbooth CS5 is audio editing software. The program offers basic and advanced tools for both beginners and professionals. It supports editing for multiple tracks so that editors can perform audio layering. In addition, the layers can be resized to focus on the waveform of each track. Editors can make use of a wide variety of musical scores and sound effects that come with the application. More can be downloaded from the Resource Central where there are thousands of sound effects. Adobe Soundbooth CS5 also comes with cleaning tools, such as noise reduction.

Other tools included in this audio editing suite include pitch correction, waveform and spectral editing, and speech alignment. More features of the program are:

The program was also in included as a component of the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium and the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection. The production and sales of the Adobe Soundbooth CS5 was discontinued in April 24, 2011. It was replaced with the Adobe Audition CS5.5, a sound editing suite that combines the best features of Adobe Soundbooth CS5 with a high-performance audio post-production suite.
