Adobe Premiere Elements is a video editing software specifically for nonlinear video editing equipped with professional quality effects.  Adobe Premiere Elements can handle multiple video and audio tracks at any one time alongside a number of keyframed effects applied to each clip.

An Organizer allows one to easily view, and organize both image and video files.  It also has chromakey and Picture-in-picture capabilities, as well as a real-time video preview that enables one to see adjustments done in the video timeline.  A filter for image stabilization accounts for high quality video imports and exports. Videos such as movies and even slideshows are provided numerous editing options. They are in the form of features such as tying them up to a favorite song, adding themes, titles, and polished credit to them, or jazzing them up with transitions and other effects.  A myriad of output formats include Blu-Ray Discs, DVDs, IPods, PSPs, and mobile phones. Different kinds of videos like movies can also be enhanced and the output thereof can be shared on any type of platform such as that of YouTube. Adobe Premiere Elements enables one to convert everyday videos into impressive and enduring home movies.   Most third-party plug ins are also accommodated by the program. In the year 2006, it was certified as the top selling video editing software for consumers.
