A-PDF Word to PDF is an application that allows users to convert Microsoft Word documents to PDF files. It supports different file formats, such as TXT, RTF, DOC, WRI, and DOCX. This program can only convert Word documents created with Microsoft Word 2000 to 2007. The program is easy to use, as it has a wizard interface that takes users throughout the process of converting files.
On the main window, users can choose from three options –Hot Directories Mode, Command Line Mode, and Batch Convert Mode. Users can then add documents to the program by clicking on the “Add” button, which is located at the right side of the main window. Since the program supports batch conversion, several files can be added all at the same time. A list of all the files added will be displayed on the main window including the filename, information about the file, file size, date when it was modified, and other information. Users can change the output settings for the conversion at the bottom part of the window. Some of the settings that can be changed include the pages, bookmarks, security, watermarks, and properties. Users just have to click the button labeled “Convert to PDF And Save As” at the lower right part of the window to start the process of conversion.
