Jewel Quest Solitaire 3

Jewel Quest Solitaire 3 is a casual video game released in 2009. This video game presents combined elements of tile-matching puzzles of previous Jewel Quest games and the Solitaire card game. Jewel Quest Solitaire 3 follows the adventures of characters Rupert and Emma as they solve puzzles to uncover various artifacts, and solve the mystery behind an ancient civilization. The game’s story progress is shown after the player clears a level puzzle.

Jewel Quest Solitaire 3 features its usual tile-swapping puzzle where the player must clear a grid by aligning 3 or more identical jewels either horizontally or vertically. Players must clear the puzzle under a time limit. Jewel Quest Solitaire 3 also includes a modified type of Solitaire. This is a type of a card game where players are faced with a stack of cards, which they must arrange in descending order. An added feature of the game’s solitaire mode includes a variety of power-ups that can be found randomly in between the card stacks or by filling up the energy bar on the right side of the screen. These power-ups include the “Wild Card” which is a bonus card that can assume any suit or card rank, the “X-ray” which allows the player to reveal face down cards, the “Unbury” power-up which lets the player get a card that is between a stack, and the “Shuffle” power up which shuffles all the cards in the stack. Jewel Quest Solitaire 3 features 100 game levels that increase in difficulty as the game progresses.
