KSudoku (Sudoku Game)

KSudoku (Sudoku Game) is a board game developed by KDE. The game is based on the Japanese logic board game Sudoku. It is a single player game requiring the player to deduce the correct position of numbers one to nine in a grid of 9 boxes across and 9 boxes down. The grid is divided into smaller grids of 3x3. The player has to fill up the grid by encoding the number 1 to 9 on the empty boxes. Each number must only appear once in a particular column, row, or box.

KSudoku (Sudoku Game) allows users to choose the size of the grid at the start of the game. The player can also choose the number of symbols that may be used. The regular Sudoku uses 9 symbols. However, the game provides other choices including 4, 16, and 25 symbols. For grids using 4 symbols, users will be given numbers 1 to 4. For games with 16 and 25 symbols, users can fill in the boxes with letters A to P or A to Y. The more symbols there are, the bigger and the more complicated the game is.

KSudoku (Sudoku Game) is a game that involves numbers. However, it requires no mathematical knowledge. Instead, logic is utilized to solve the puzzles and finish the game. The less time taken to solve the game, the higher the player’s score is.
