Desura

Desura is a content delivery service that distributes games, modifications, and other game content from independent game developers, such as Frictional Games, RuneSoft, Interplay Entertainment, Basilisk Games, Running with Scissors, Inc., and many more.

The application’s interface consists of tabs and game categories where players can search for titles. The games are categorized according to type (RPG, Sport, Action, MMO, Driving, Adventure, Simulation, etc). There are also tabs for new games that are added, popular games, and upcoming games. Desura also has built-in games that can be accessed free of charge. They can be played by clicking on the ‘Play’ button at the top portion of the screen. Downloaded games can be accessed there, too. The program also has a ‘Community’ tab where players have access to groups created by other players.
