Drawn: Trail of Shadows is part of the Drawn series of adventure puzzle games. In this third installment, the game revolves around the events of the life of a boy who has the power to bring all his paintings alive. In one of his paintings, a bad wizard was brought to life and trapped the boy inside his paintings. The player assumes the role of an unnamed character who must follow the boy through his paintings.

The player gets to meet different characters along the way. These characters can guide the player on what to do or where to go next. The player will also encounter a variety of puzzles that range in difficulty. In addition to all the puzzles, the player also gets the chance to paint, draw, and interact with the world in the boy’s paintings. The first few levels of the game have a colorful environment, but the setting will turn dark and dreary as the player progresses. The game comes with beautiful graphics that make the gameplay more interesting.
