PhotonTV

PhotonTV, made possible by TATA Photon+, is a Live television app that streams shows directly to desktops and laptops. Postpaid uses of TATA Phone+ can avail of this service. People who want to have live TV streamed directly to their devices can download this application. This application streams more than seventy channels featuring networks that air the most popular shows on TV today. Regional channels such as TV9 Kannada, ETV Marathi, Bangla, and Gujarati are streamed as well. There is a wide variety of categories available, including News, Entertainment, and Sports.

PhotonTV offers the following rates to subscribers. For a single channel, the payment is Rs. 4 per month while a full package is worth @Rs75 per month. Meanwhile, a combination of any ten channels is good for Rs 29 per month. Special sporting event and other exclusive programs are not included yet. This program has controls for colorsafe filtering, overscan correction, as well as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 parameter control. PhotonTV has additional features. It allows users to create SVCD, XSVCD, and VCD sows that contain still pictures in high resolution. Transitions may be included and frames and borders may be added, too. Users of Photon TV may also create their own soundtracks, record audio captions. There are controls for enhancing timing control as well.
